  • 1983: The second printing of Stan Hoig's "Edmond: The Early Years"
  • 1984: A plaque honoring Milton "Kickingbird" Reynolds, who established the Edmond Sun in 1889
  • 1985: Finished restoration of the 45th Infantry Division Armory as a museum
  • 1989: Published Stan Hoig's "Edmond: The First Century"
  • 1989: Co-sponsored Edmond's Centennial Celebration
  • 1991: Completed first phase of Stephenson Park memorial plaza
  • 1991: Identified downtown historic Edmond buildings and labeled them with descriptive plaques
  • 1993: Granite historical marker noting the location and history of the Edmond Train Depot near original depot site
  • 2001: Purchased Sanders Camera Shop at 124 East 2nd
  • 2001: Gained Oklahoma Centennial Commission certification for school house restoration
  • 2001: Began restoration of the Sanders store to its original school house status
  • 2002: Commissioned artist Bob Palmer to create a large wall mural depicting early Edmond history
  • 2003: Received the Gaylord Oklahoma Territory Award for Organization Preserving State & Local History from the Oklahoma Heritage Association
  • 2006: Classen Grove marker erected in Liberty Park at the Edmond Public Library
  • 2007: Held formal dedication of the completely restored and furnished 1889 Territorial School
  • 2008: Began the territorial school day experience with a class of home schooled students
  • 2008: Added Stephenson Park to the Oklahoma Landmarks inventory
  • 2009: Purchased material for a Boy Scout Eagle Project to construct four heavy-duty tables for the school yard
  • 2009: Purchased and installed 25 foot flag pole in front yard of 1889 Territorial School
  • 2009: Received US flag certified as having flown over the nation's capitol from Congresswoman Mary Fallin
  • 2009: Installed "1889 Territorial School" signage above school house's main entryway
  • 2009: Presented National Register of Historic Places plaques to Edmond's American Legion Hut, Post 111, and the Kivlehen House
  • 2010: The 1889 Territorial School was named Edmond's Number One attraction by the Edmond Sun newspaper
  • 2010: The Country School Association of America honored the 1889 Territorial School adding it to their National Registry, the 22nd such one room school to be honored
